About the Company

The key to understanding hy is to understand its background: as a portfolio firm of Axel Springer, a leading digital media company, hy’s chief capabilities lie in identifying, analyzing, and supporting growth opportunities on behalf of clients.

With its head office in Berlin, the firm employs about 50 people with a mission to put its understanding of global tech and the digital ecosystem to work for its roundabout 200 clients. Approximately 70 percent of the consultants have founded companies before or worked in early-stage startups. All senior colleagues worked in operative roles before joining hy as a consultant.
